We're looking for a Data Intern to support our Marketing team by transforming data into actionable insights that improve campaign performance and business growth.
What You'll Do
- Conduct primary and secondary research to identify potential businesses across the restaurant and retail industries.
- Build and maintain TAM (Total Addressable Market) databases across different regions, segments, and business categories.
- Source, verify, and validate business information from multiple online and offline sources.
- Research company profiles, decision-makers, contact details, funding, expansion plans, and technology stacks.
- Create clean, structured datasets to support sales and marketing campaigns.
- Enrich CRM records with relevant business insights.
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging brands.
- Support the Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships teams with ad-hoc research projects.
- Ensure data accuracy through regular verification and updates.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to gather information from multiple sources and organize it systematically.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Curious mindset with the ability to identify trends and patterns.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Good to Have
- Experience using LinkedIn, Apollo, Google Maps, or other business research platforms.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot.
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills (formulas, filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
