Mathematics and Science Teacher
About this role
We are looking for a Math and Science Teacher for an international High School based in Nanchang. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in September 2026.
Job responsibilities
- Teach math and science to High school students with the provided a US curriculum as guide and framework
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials, and provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student
- Evaluate students’ academic and social growth, record appropriate records and prepare progress reports
- Collaborate with school administrators and peer teachers
- Participate in curriculum and professional development sessions
- Assist and coordinate activities and events inside and outside of school location
- Bachelor's degree or above in teachable subject
- Teaching certificate
- At least 2 years of subject teaching experience
- Excellent communications skills
Salary and benefits
- Monthly salary of 22,000 to 28,000 RMB before tax, commensurate with experience and qualifications
- Free independent two-bedroom apartment provided
