Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a reliable and highly motivated Mechanical Site Engineer to join our top-qualified and knowledgeable team for one of our major projects in Suez, Egypt.

What you will need to do:

  •  Plan, supervise, and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for factory machinery and equipment.
  • Monitor production line performance and implement improvements to maximize equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution of equipment breakdowns.
  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and continuously improve maintenance practices.
  • Monitor spare parts availability and optimize maintenance costs while maintaining equipment performance.
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, analyze equipment performance, and recommend improvement initiatives.
  • Support continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing plant productivity and minimizing downtime.

 

What you will need to have:

  •  Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in maintenance within concrete products manufacturing or a similar industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance systems.
  • Good understanding of industrial machinery, rotating equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Experience in troubleshooting mechanical failures and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
  • Good planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Good command of English and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
