About this role
Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant (MA)-Back Office is accountable for basic clerical and technical supportive services within a defined scope of practice under the direction of a licensed physician, surgeon, or other licensed health professional. The incumbent functions as a patient care team member assisting licensed staff in the performance and provision of safe and efficient patient care while maintaining high customer service standards.Qualifications:
Education
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required)
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required)
Work Experience
- Minimum six (6) months Working in a healthcare environment as a Medical Assistant (preferred)
Skills and Abilities
- Bilingual Skills Preferred.
