Position Summary: 

Medical Assistant (MA) Students are responsible for learning the role of the Medical Assistant, while assisting physicians and staff with clinical and clerical duties in the practice, as assigned by supervisors, preceptor, and mentors.  Displays maturity, flexibility, and effective organization and communication skills in dealing with other people.  Promotes teamwork within the department.  Performs as part of a health care team to provide high quality medical services. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.  

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Education: High School Diploma required
