  • Participate in the software development lifecycle, including requirements clarification, delivery, deployment, observability, and production support.

  • Communicate progress, questions, and risks clearly, keep stakeholders informed, and collaborate with engineering and product management.

  • Complete the role’s baseline technical assessment and demonstrate curiosity, sound problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Your Toolkit:

  • Foundational programming experience in Java, Python, or a comparable modern language through coursework, internships, co-ops, projects, or professional work.

  • Understanding of core software engineering concepts, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software testing.

  • Ability to apply basic problem-solving techniques, follow established guidelines, and learn professional concepts.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with teammates and project leaders.

  • Passion for software development, cybersecurity, and learning new technologies in a collaborative environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP at the API or programming level.

  • Familiarity with REST APIs, Spring or similar ecosystems, Docker, Kubernetes, CloudFormation, or Terraform.

  • Coursework, internship, co-op, or project experience with distributed systems, cloud services, networking, or security controls.
