About this role

Xenon7 is looking for a Fractional Microsoft AI & Copilot Ecosystem Specialist to support senior-level client conversations, Copilot activation initiatives, and Microsoft-centered AI advisory work across enterprise accounts.

This is a part-time advisory role, ideal for someone with deep experience deploying and scaling Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure OpenAI, Power Platform, Teams, and SharePoint in complex enterprise environments. You will help Xenon7 bring senior credibility to Microsoft-first client conversations, shape practical Copilot adoption strategies, and advise on governance, compliance, and enterprise rollout decisions.

This is not a full-time delivery role. The expected commitment is around 10–20 hours per month on an advisory retainer.

Responsibilities

  • Join sales and discovery conversations with CIOs, IT leaders, and enterprise stakeholders in Microsoft-first environments.
  • Advise on Microsoft AI ecosystem strategy, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure OpenAI, Power Platform, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Support Copilot activation sprint scoping and provide oversight on delivery approach, technical feasibility, and adoption planning.
  • Guide the design of agentic workflows within the Microsoft ecosystem using tools such as Copilot Studio, Semantic Kernel, and Azure AI Foundry.
  • Review client proposals and recommendations to ensure they are realistic, enterprise-ready, and aligned with Microsoft platform capabilities.
  • Provide guidance on governance, compliance, security, and change management for large-scale Microsoft AI deployments.
  • Support Xenon7 in Microsoft partnership conversations and help strengthen credibility with Microsoft field teams and partner channels.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through Microsoft-focused content, executive insights, conference participation, and speaking opportunities such as Microsoft community events or Ignite-related activities.

  • Advanced academic background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Organizational Behavior, or a related field with a strong technology focus. PhD preferred; Master’s degree also considered.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure OpenAI, Power Platform, Teams, and SharePoint in enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience designing or deploying agentic workflows within the Microsoft ecosystem, including tools such as Copilot Studio, Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Foundry, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise governance, compliance, security, and change management in large Microsoft deployments.
  • Ability to advise senior stakeholders, including CIOs, IT leaders, digital workplace leaders, and enterprise transformation teams.
  • Strong architectural judgment and practical understanding of what is scalable, adoptable, and realistic in Microsoft-centered enterprise environments.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Bonus: former Microsoft employee, Microsoft MVP designation, or strong experience within a Microsoft SI or partner ecosystem.
  • Bonus: experience supporting enterprise Copilot adoption, licensing activation, usage expansion, and business-value realization programs.
  • Advisory retainer at USD $50/hour.
  • Fractional advisory engagement: approximately 10–20 hours per month.
