Mid-Level DevOps Engineer

We are currently seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our team at FME Romania. As a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing scalable Cloud Architectures and implementing DevOps principles to leverage the benefits of Cloud Technologies.

Your responsibilities will include 

• Collaborating in multi-cultural teams for enterprise projects
• Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for applications running in AWS Cloud
• Developing infrastructure as code solutions for automated deployment, log collection, and monitoring
• Working closely with development teams, operations, monitoring, and other stakeholders to improve processes and implementation
• Mentoring and guiding new colleagues

• 3+ years of experience in AWS; 
• A basic understanding of modern application architectures such as Bigdata and micro-services
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Powershell, Python, and bash scripting
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, such as Azure DevOps, Gitlab, and GitHub Actions
• Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code solutions
• Hands-on experience with container runtimes like Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, or AWS ECS/EKS, and serverless runtimes, like AWS Lambda Functions 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred qualifications 

• Advanced Linux shell abilities
• Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions such as ELF/EFK stack, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and Thanos 

Nice to have: 

• AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate
• German language skills
