Overview
Valor Specialized Rigging is hiring experienced Millwrights who know how to work around cranes, execute complex picks, and install equipment the right way the first time. This is not a maintenance role, this is field work tied to heavy lifts, tight tolerances, and critical path schedules.
We’re looking for people who take ownership and move with urgency while maintaining a Safety First mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute precision setting, alignment, and installation of heavy industrial equipment
- Work directly with crane operators and rigging crews during critical lifts and placements
- Read and work from rigging plans, lift drawings, and equipment layouts
- Perform layout, leveling, and final alignment to spec
- Identify and solve field issues without slowing down the job
- Maintain control of work areas with a strong focus on safety and execution
Qualifications
- 3+ years of millwright experience in construction or industrial settings
- Proven experience working around cranes and heavy rigging operations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment setting and alignment
- Ability to read and interpret prints, rigging plans, and layout drawings
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours as required
- OSHA 10/30 preferred
