Job Description

1. Project manager of new molds in terms of deadlines and quality requirement from the design freeze until to the release of the single part.
2. Estimation of leadtime and prices for injection molds. For new molds, for mold modifications and spare parts. Plausibility check of repair offers.
3. Support / create DFM (Design for Manufacturing), Mold Spec, Mold concept.
4. Participation in the definition of the mold concept with the Switzerland-Base HQ.
5. Review and confirm the mold design from mold supplier.
6. Follow mold schedule & Participate in the mold trial at supplier side with travelling.
7. Provide correction action for mold optimization after first sampling.
8. Report mold status to HQ by weekly meeting.
9. Collaborate with other teams (development, sampling, process optimization molds).
10. Check all the mold related Doc from supplier side for mold transfer.
11. Coordination of the required project documentation (in SAP and Agile) as well as the drawings and 3D datas.
12. Responsible for data management (molds), especially in AGILE, CAD, SAP.
13. Support to manage mold shop for mold maintenance and mold failure root cause analysis.
14. Support to develop new mold supplier with Purchasing team.
15. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding environmental protection, fire prevention as well as occupational health and safety.
16. Ensure reporting to the manager or ESH responsible person of ESH deficiencies and hazards (affecting working materials and funds as well as the working environment) which cannot be self-rectified.
17. Safety Responsibilities: To follow strictly the company and ESH regulations and operational procedures. To receive safety production education and training activities. To report the Incident and risks to manager or ESH manager whatever it is serious or not. To stop any unsafe behavio

Qualifications

1. 3+ years in injection mold design, 5+ years in mold project management. Experience in Europe enterprise. Knowledge in adhesive industry molds (e.g., cartridge, piston, mixer products). Knowledge in Beauty molds (e.g., mascara, lip gloss products).
2. Familiar with UG software. Good knowledge for DFM & injection mold design. Good knowledge for mold manufacturing. Knowledge for molding process.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mold Engineering or related field.
4. Languages: English proficiency.
5. Soft Skills: Project management, communication, and coordination skills.
6. Knowledge of injection mold repair & maintenance is preferred.
