As we continue to expand our retail footprint across India, we are looking for a seasoned retail leader to drive our national sales strategy and store operations.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented National Retail Sales Head to lead and scale Smytten Retail's sales operations across multiple regions in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Beauty & Personal Care (BPC) retail industry, with a proven track record of driving sales growth, leading large retail teams, and managing multi-region operations.
This is a strategic leadership role that requires a balance of business acumen, operational excellence, and people leadership.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop and execute the national retail sales strategy aligned with business objectives.
-Drive revenue growth, profitability, and productivity across all retail stores.
-Lead and mentor Regional Sales Managers, Area Managers, and Store Managers to achieve sales targets.
-Monitor and improve key retail KPIs including sales, conversion, ATV, UPT, footfall, productivity, shrinkage, and customer experience.
-Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising, promotional campaigns, and retail excellence standards across stores.
-Collaborate closely with Marketing, Category, Supply Chain, HR, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
-Identify expansion opportunities and support new store launches across the country.
-Build a high-performance sales culture through coaching, performance management, and talent development.
-Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to recommend business strategies.
-Drive operational efficiency while ensuring adherence to company policies and SOPs.
Preferred Candidate Profile
-10–15 years of experience in Retail Sales within the Beauty & Personal Care (BPC) industry.
-Demonstrated experience managing at least two geographical territories among North, South, East, and West India.
-Strong understanding of retail operations, sales planning, and customer experience management.
-Proven ability to lead large, geographically dispersed teams.
-Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
-Strong analytical mindset with experience in retail performance reporting and business planning.
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Educational Qualifications
B.Tech, MBA, or Postgraduate degree from a recognized institution (preferred).
