Job Description
The Network Specialist/Network Administrator is a full time onsite position in Warsaw, Indiana. The objective of this position is to ensure the stable and secure operation of our corporate LAN/WAN across our data center and 16+ remote sites.
Responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to):
- Manage and maintain servers and their associated operating systems and software
- Perform system backups and recovery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose connectivity issues
- Manage and maintain all network appliances and network connectivity for all systems
- Maintain networking equipment firmware and software upgrades
- Monitor and test network performance and provide performance statistics and reports
- Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level end user technical support
- Remotely work with users to resolve local issues
The Network Specialist/Network Administrator is required to:
- Document related IT information and support tickets
- Prioritize tasks and assignments with attention to detail
- Follow HIPAA standards and guidelines
- Occasionally travel within the state
- Participate in the rotating On-Call Schedule
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience supporting network infrastructure and security
- Comprehensive working knowledge of infrastructure protocols (DNS, AD, DHCP, SMTP, IP, etc.)
- Demonstrated expertise in wired and wireless network architecture and implementation
- Experience with Microsoft Server 2008 β 2019 and Windows 10 and 11 operating systems
- Advanced technical knowledge of security solutions, including firewalls and managed switches
- Proven experience with virtualization platforms (VMWare and/or Hyper-V)
- Demonstrated competency with backup and recovery solutions (Veeam Backup software)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
- Professional experience supporting Microsoft 365 enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Citrix Desktop/ADC infrastructure
