The New Product Introduction Co-op will support the transfer of customer programs from development into production. Working across Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and customer-facing teams, this role helps ensure new products and processes are ready to launch safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, build readiness, and cross-functional action-item tracking for new product launches and transfers.
• Assist with prototype, pilot, and production builds, including documentation of results, issues, and follow-up actions.
• Help prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation, such as work instructions, process flows, bills of material, and training materials.
• Participate in design-for-manufacturability reviews and identify opportunities to improve quality, cost, yield, and cycle time.
• Support risk assessments, process validation, and readiness reviews as products move toward commercial production.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to close launch-related issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomedical, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline.

• Interest in medical-device manufacturing, project execution, and product commercialization.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively across functions in a high-urgency environment.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $23.00 to $28.00.
