The Role:
The Lead Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the manufacturing technology/process of new projects awarded to ODM suppliers and acts as a coordinator among various departments within Logitech. The role involves ensuring excellent mold design and DFM in the front-end design stage to eliminate risks during mass production. The engineer collaborates with BG and vendors to support tooling DFM and Moldflow simulation, enhancing manufacturing efficiency and minimizing material usage.

Your Contribution:

  • Collaborate with BG and vendors to support tooling DFM and Moldflow simulation to ensure the quality of injected parts.

  • Provide mold solutions for NPI projects, enhance manufacturing efficiency, and minimize material usage.

  • Conduct injection molding yield rate improvement and troubleshooting.

  • Evaluate cost-effective mold designs based on tool durability, manufacturing efficiency, and maintenance simplicity.

  • Review mold designs to ensure high-quality injection molding.

  • Conduct research on technology trends and communicate with affiliated suppliers.


Your Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience. Mechanical Engineering background is plus

  • Expertise in mold design and CAE (Moldflow) knowledge for injection molding.

  • Thorough understanding of injection mold processing parameters and applications.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in project management knowledge.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Must be detail-oriented, self-directed, with high organizational skills.
