Job Description:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.

  • Evaluate and diagnose acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions.

  • Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and evidence-based guidelines.

  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and imaging procedures.

  • Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

  • Perform office-based procedures and treatments within scope of practice and competency.

  • Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, COPD, and other common conditions.

  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and preventive care.

  • Encourage healthy lifestyle practices and disease prevention strategies.

  • Coordinate care transitions and referrals to specialists, ancillary services, and community resources.

  • Facilitate continuity of care through ongoing patient monitoring and communication.

Education and Experiences Required 

  • Master’s Degree

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

  • State of FL ARNP Licensure
