Purpose of the position
Lead and develop the Ankara & Eskişehir on-trade field sales team to deliver sustainable commercial growth while elevating Pernod Ricard’s premium portfolio and ensuring full compliance with company standards and local regulations.
Main responsibilities and tasks
Lead and develop the on-trade field sales team
- Inspire, coach, and empower the Ankara & Eskişehir on-trade sales team through regular field accompaniment, constructive feedback, and clear, authentic communication.
- Set ambitious yet realistic priorities and sales targets, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Identify individual and collective development needs, nurturing talent and supporting career growth in line with our convivial and performance-driven culture.
Drive sales execution and operational excellence in the field
- Ensure flawless execution of commercial plans, promotions, and activations at outlet level, grounded in our premium brand standards and local realities.
- Continuously monitor sales performance and KPIs, using data and market insights to adapt plans, address gaps, and turn challenges into growth opportunities.
- Champion disciplined route-to-market and in-outlet execution, ensuring our brands are visible, available, and perfectly presented in priority accounts.
Strengthen customer relationships and account management
- Build and nurture long-term, trust-based relationships with key on-trade customers, being present in the field and attentive to their evolving needs.
- Ensure a consistently high-quality customer experience that protects and elevates Pernod Ricard’s premium brand image at every touchpoint.
- Act as the first point of escalation for customer and operational issues, resolving them pragmatically while safeguarding mutual value and convivial partnerships.
Foster cross-functional collaboration for impactful execution
- Partner closely with Trade Marketing, Marketing, and Supply teams to translate national strategies into relevant, locally grounded field execution.
- Coordinate and support launches, campaigns, and visibility initiatives, ensuring they are implemented within legal boundaries and tailored to outlet realities.
- Share on-the-ground insights and feedback across functions, connecting teams beyond borders to refine plans and unlock new opportunities.
Ensure compliance, reporting, and market intelligence
- Guarantee full adherence to local alcohol regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all field activities, role-modelling responsible commercial behavior.
- Provide timely, accurate reporting on sales performance, field activities, and competitive moves, using data to inform decisions and challenge the status quo constructively.
- Continuously scan the market and community environment, bringing grounded, real-world insights that help shape future strategies and protect our reputation.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including 2–3 years in on-trade or FMCG field roles; prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

- Flexibility, resilience, and willingness to work in a dynamic field role, including evenings and weekends when required, with English proficiency.
