Credence has an immediate opening for an Operations Analyst at the senior level to support the Operations Management (OM) Division (AFLCMC/WAO/WBO) provides support to both PEOs for the F&AA and WB Directorates under the umbrella of organize, train, and equip, providing a direct link between the Directorates with HQ AFLCMC, HQ AFMC, and installations at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

This support includes administrative functions such as freedom of information act, records management, training, awards and decorations, as well as oversight for Management Information Systems (MIS) and Information Technology (IT), and Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) inventory.  Additionally, the division provides direct facility support and human resource management for both Directorates. The division serves as the senior functional for all non-functionally aligned resources owned by both the F&AA and WB Directorates.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:

  • Provide overall division support for administrative functions, Defense Travel System (DTS), special projects, awards, training, and other non-acquisition support functions.
  • Advise senior leaders, supervisors, and managers on special projects; independently research sensitive issues involving policies, procedures, and legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements; and review draft regulations, directives, and guidance to prepare recommendations and comments on local policy or practice impacts.
  • Collect, measure, review, and interpret division requirements and project data for accuracy, policy compliance, and consistency with customer objectives.
  • Serve as project manager for special studies, initiatives, and projects as defined by senior leadership; complete special project reports in directed formats and develop/present briefings and reports on project status, findings, and recommendations to senior functional managers and upper management.
  • Participate in discussions and meetings, serve on panels or committees, and provide written reports and briefings outlining findings, recommendations, and rationale to management while coordinating across directorates, organizations, Centers, MAJCOMs, and HQ USAF.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise, and well-structured oral and written communications tailored to audience composition, knowledge level, and desired outcomes; identify problems in broad and detailed terms and help resolve conflicts through timely discussions with responsible stakeholders.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining master files and file plans of classified and unclassified program data to facilitate tracking and resolution of operational issues.
  • Retrieve data and information through queries and reports; maintain tracking systems to identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions/closures, and prepare documentation for Government review and approval.
  • Assist in performing self-inspections; present detailed and comprehensive reports with corrective actions taken or required; ensure complete and quality resolution of discrepancies; and assess/revise policies and procedures to improve quality, timeliness, and efficiency of work.
  • Assist in processing nomination packages for quarterly and yearly recognition programs, special trophies, and monetary and honorary recognition packages.
  • Provide instruction and training to staff members and action officers on proper submission and tracking procedures for staff packages in SharePoint and Task Management Tool (TMT) systems.
  • Track division suspense’s, eSSS, staff packages, operating instructions, and various correspondence.
  • Support special projects, initiatives, and assignments, including identifying project needs, initiating milestones and goals, evaluating reports, analyzing facts, conducting research, and preparing detailed responses.
  • Support administrative tasks necessary for division functions, including tracking manning and preparing charts; performing data entry; integrating information into required reports; generating and maintaining requirements, files, forms, and file plans; processing unclassified mail and handling classified material as required; preparing correspondence; and managing/operating office equipment.
  • Assist with office supply ordering by gathering customer requests and preparing/itemizing lists of supplies and equipment to be ordered by the Government.
  • Administer division travel orders and vouchers; prepare CONUS and OCONUS travel in support of program meetings, reviews, audits, and other activities held at Government and contractor facilities.

Education, Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must have at least an active or current secret security clearance verifiable in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD;
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD;
  • OR fifteen (15) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight (8) years of which must be in the DoD.
  • Must have working knowledge of AFRIMS, DTS, SOCCER, ETMS2/TMT, MICT, PMRT, and related systems/processes.
  • Must have experience with DTS and remain current on DTS changes; able to update and train division personnel on DTS usage and assist with creating and maintaining member travel authorizations, orders, and vouchers.
  • Must maintain working knowledge of the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), DoD Financial Management Regulation (DoD FMR), and DTS WPAFB business rules.
  • Must handle all official records in accordance with AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program.
