The Operations Manager will lead andĀ optimizeĀ warehouse andĀ logisticsĀ operations across a distributed environment, ensuring efficient inventory flow, fulfillment accuracy, and scalable operational processes. This role is heavily focused on warehouse operations strategy,Ā logisticsĀ coordination, inventory systems implementation, and process improvement.Ā
The ideal candidate brings experience overseeing warehouse operations, redesigning warehouseĀ layoutsĀ and workflows, implementing inventory management solutions, and managing third-partyĀ logisticsĀ and shipping operations. This individual will serve as a key operational partner in building scalable infrastructure that supports growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.Ā
Key ResponsibilitiesĀ
Warehouse Operations & OptimizationĀ
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations remotely, including receiving, storage, fulfillment, shipping, and returnsĀ Ā
- Evaluate and redesign warehouse layouts, workflows, and operational processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracyĀ Ā
- Develop and implement operational standards, SOPs, and KPIs across warehouse functionsĀ Ā
- Partner with warehouse personnel and third-party vendors to ensure operational consistency and performanceĀ Ā
- IdentifyĀ process bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiativesĀ Ā
Inventory Management & SystemsĀ
- Lead the implementation and optimization of inventory management systems and warehouse operational toolsĀ Ā
- MaintainĀ accurateĀ SKU-level inventory visibility and reporting across multiple locations or systemsĀ Ā
- Establish inventory control procedures including cycle counts, reconciliation, and auditing processesĀ Ā
- Analyze inventory trends and operational data to improve forecasting, replenishment, and fulfillment accuracyĀ Ā
- Partner cross-functionally to improve inventory planning and operational scalabilityĀ Ā
LogisticsĀ & Supply Chain ManagementĀ
- Manage shipping, freight, carrier relationships, andĀ logisticsĀ operations to ensureĀ timelyĀ and cost-effective deliveryĀ Ā
- Oversee inbound and outboundĀ logisticsĀ coordination across warehouse and customer delivery operationsĀ Ā
- Monitor shipping performance, delivery timelines, and transportation costs whileĀ identifyingĀ optimization opportunitiesĀ Ā
- Manage end-to-end RMA processing and hardware warranty operations across deployed customer hardware environmentsĀ
- Serve as a point of coordination for customer service escalations related to hardware fulfillment, returns, replacements, and shipping discrepanciesĀ
Operational Strategy & Project ManagementĀ
- Lead operational improvement projects including warehouse redesigns, inventory system migrations, andĀ logisticsĀ process enhancementsĀ Ā
- Develop scalable operational frameworks to support company growth and customer demandĀ Ā
- Collaborate with leadership, finance, customer success, and technical teams to align operational prioritiesĀ Ā
- Build reporting dashboards and operational metrics to track warehouse andĀ logisticsĀ performanceĀ Ā
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional CollaborationĀ
- Lead and support warehouse operations personnel, vendors, and cross-functional operational teamsĀ Ā
- Establish clear operational expectations, accountability, and performance standardsĀ Ā
- Drive a culture of operational excellence, responsiveness, and continuous improvementĀ Ā
- Provide training and guidance on inventory systems, warehouse procedures, andĀ logisticsĀ best practicesĀ
- Coordinate with Implementation teams to confirm hardware delivery schedules,Ā validateĀ successful delivery completion, and ensure customers receiveĀ accurateĀ and complete shipmentsĀ

RequiredĀ QualificationsĀ Ā
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations,Ā logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment managementĀ
- Experience overseeing warehouse operations remotely and managing distributed operational teams or partnersĀ
- Proven experience redesigning warehouse workflows, layouts, or operational infrastructureĀ
- Hands-on experience implementing orĀ optimizingĀ inventory management systems (WMS/IMS/ERP)Ā
- StrongĀ logisticsĀ and transportation management experience, including carrier and freight coordinationĀ
- Experience managing SKU-level inventory in a fast-paced operational environmentĀ
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsĀ
- Ability to manage multiple operational initiatives simultaneouslyĀ
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsĀ
Preferred QualificationsĀ
- Experience inĀ a hardware, technology, ecommerce, or distribution environmentĀ
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and shipping/logisticsĀ softwareĀ
- Experience working with third-partyĀ logisticsĀ (3PL) providersĀ
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and operational complianceĀ
Work EnvironmentĀ
- Fully remote role with regular interaction with warehouse teams,Ā logisticsĀ providers, and operational partnersĀ
- Occasional travel toĀ warehouseĀ or operational sites may beĀ requiredĀ
