Renaissance Learning is seeking Customer Education Consultants withĀ strong facilitation skills to deliverĀ high-impact, engaging professional learning for Renaissance users.⯠Working closely with ProfessionalĀ Learning leaders, Renaissance Consultants help educators apply learning to practices for lasting growth.⯠Renaissance Consultants are key members of our Customer Education team andĀ are responsible forĀ facilitatingĀ top quality training experiences, building positive relationships, supporting educators inĀ their implementation of Renaissance solutions,Ā assessmentĀ and data practices, and contributing to the continuous development of Renaissance professional learning programs.Ā
Availability RequirementsĀ
Renaissance Consultants are scheduled on an as-needed basis and are paid an hourly rate, with reimbursement for approved travel and related expenses. Consultants must be available toĀ facilitateĀ professional learning sessions for up toĀ 40 hoursĀ per week and be willing to travel up to 75% during peak season (JulyāOctober). During the non-peak season (NovemberāJune), consultants must be available toĀ facilitateĀ professional learning for up to 20 hours per week. Travel isĀ requiredĀ for this role.Ā
Note: This partātime role requires consistent availability during scheduled training engagements, which may occur during standard school or business hours.
In this role, you will:Ā
- Learn multiple solutions during the tenure of employment with Renaissance to meet our clients' needs.Ā Ā
- Customize and deliver on-site and/or virtual product training and professional learning that meets client needs and exceeds expectations.Ā
- Differentiate training on the spot when needed to ensure high engagement and meeting learning goals.Ā
- Engage in an internal cycle of reflection, feedback, and development (including observations, client evaluations, and coaching)Ā
- Prepare for training engagements by engaging with Renaissance team members, customizing training materials (within specific parameters), learning about theĀ particular needsĀ and goals of the client, etc.Ā
- Document andĀ submitĀ detailed training notes.Ā
- Present a professional image to customers.Ā
- Learn and follow Renaissance processes for preparing, delivering, and post workĀ facilitationĀ
⯠PreferredĀ QualificationsĀ
- Bachelorās degree in education or related fieldĀ
- At least 5 years of professional experienceĀ facilitating/delivering professional development,Ā
- Prior experience in K-12 educationĀ
- Experience with educational technology, familiarity withĀ Renaissance products and solutionsĀ
- Experience delivering training across various in-person and virtual modalities, includingĀ webinarsĀ
- Deep understanding of engaging adult learning principlesĀ
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and facilitationĀ skillsĀ
- Ability to learn andĀ utilizeĀ new tools and technologiesĀ quicklyĀ
- High levelĀ of attention to detailĀ
- Proven organizationalĀ skillsĀ
- High levelĀ of collaboration with internal and cross functional teamsĀ
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.Ā
- Ability to workĀ independentlyĀ on tasks, projects, and learningĀ sessionsĀ

CompensationĀ
We offer compensation for delivering professional learningĀ ($50/hr),Ā preparing for sessionsĀ ($50/hr),Ā internal meetings ($25/hr), andĀ travel ($20/hr).Ā All travel-related work expenses are paid in advance by contractors and reimbursed upon submission of reimbursement requests, within 2-3 weeks of submission.Ā
Contract employmentĀ
ThisĀ role is hired through a staffing agencyĀ rather than directly byĀ Renaissance. Opportunities toĀ facilitateĀ professional learning are based onĀ customerĀ need,Ā contractor performance, and contractor readiness.Ā
