Part-Time, German-Speaking Nanny in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne

A lovely family based in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne is looking for a warm, energetic and reliable German-speaking nanny to join their household on a long-term basis. The family has two children, a 4-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter,

The children are easy-going and have no special needs or allergies. The family is looking for someone who will enjoy building a lasting relationship with the children and becoming a trusted part of their family life.

Location: Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland

Start Date: Around 15 September 2026

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 15:00–19:00

Hours: 20 hours per week

Salary: CHF 25 per hour, depending on experience

Additional Hours: Occasional evening/weekend babysitting or additional hours may be available by mutual agreement

Key responsibilities:

• Speak exclusively in German with the children throughout the afternoon
• Arrive at 15:00 to assist with light household tasks and prepare a simple meal
• Collect the children from school at approximately 16:45 (13-minute walk from home)
• Prepare snacks and meals and supervise the children until the parents return
• Organise age-appropriate indoor and outdoor play and activities
• Assist with light child-related household tasks, including clearing the table, dishwasher and unpacking school bags
• Provide occasional additional childcare when needed, including during illness or occasional evenings/weekends

• Valid Swiss/EU passport or Swiss work permit
• Fluent German speaker with the ability to communicate exclusively in German with the children
• Previous experience working with young children
• Happy to assist with light household tasks and basic cooking
• A driving licence is preferred but not essential

• Permanent Swiss employment contract
