ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Partnerships and Giving Analyst provides critical coordination and operational support across GWI’s Partnerships and Giving team. This role supports the team’s work across partnerships, corporate, foundations, and individual giving, helping ensure that partner and donor engagement, fundraising activities, data, and administrative processes are organized, accurate, and executed effectively.

Reporting to the Manager, Giving and Engagement, the Analyst will support scheduling and coordination of partner and donor meetings, preparation of materials, data management and reporting, prospect research, and follow-up across the team’s portfolio. This role will work closely with members of the Partnerships and Giving team and collaborate across the organization to ensure strong internal coordination and a high-quality experience for GWI’s partners and funders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Partnerships and Giving and Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support across partnerships, corporate, foundation giving, and individual giving activities.
  • Coordinate scheduling for partner, donor, and prospect meetings, including calendars, agendas, materials, and follow-up.
  • Prepare and organize materials for partner and donor meetings, presentations, proposals, renewals, and other engagement activities.
  • Support follow-up with partners, donors, and prospects, ensuring next steps and deliverables are documented and completed.
  • Assist with partner and donor communications, including acknowledgments, updates, meeting follow-ups, and other correspondence.
  • Support the team in preparing for partner and donor events, including invitations, guest lists, materials, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Conduct prospect research to identify potential partner, corporate, foundation, and individual giving opportunities and provide relevant background information to the team.
  • Collaborate with teams across GWI to gather information and coordinate activities related to partners, donors, and fundraising.

Data, Reporting, and Systems 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date partner, donor, and prospect information in Salesforce and other tracking systems.
  • Ensure data hygiene across partnership and fundraising systems, including contact information, engagement history, commitments, next steps, and other relevant information.
  • Maintain organized documentation of partner and donor interactions, commitments, proposals, and other materials.
  • Support tracking of partnership and fundraising activity, revenue, engagement, and progress toward goals.
  • Compile and organize data for internal and Board reporting and help prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for senior leadership and Board audiences.
  • Generate routine reports and data pulls to support the Partnerships and Giving team’s planning, outreach, and decision-making.

ABOUT THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

  • 1–3 years of experience in client relations, fundraising, development, nonprofit administration, or a related field.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills, with demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Highly responsive to partner and internal requests with strong commitment to timely follow-through and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, managing calendars, preparing materials, and creating reports and presentations.
  • Strong research skills, with the ability to identify, synthesize, and organize information on prospective partners, funders, or donors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce or another CRM strongly preferred.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take initiative while also knowing when to seek guidance.
  • Interest in and enthusiasm for GWI’s mission and community.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred

LOCATION AND TRAVEL: This role is based in New York, NY and would be in the office at least 3 days per week as part of a hybrid office model. Limited local and domestic travel expected. Event attendance required on select evenings and weekends.

Current compensation range expected: $75,000 - $85,000 per year. The starting pay will depend on a variety of factors that may include but are not limited to experience, education, training, and certification. GWI offers a strong and competitive benefits package.
