About this role
Overview
The Payroll Accountant is responsible for payroll accounting activities supporting the Company's financial reporting process. This includes preparation and review of payroll journal entries, payroll-related accruals, final pay accounting, statutory payroll reporting, and month-end schedules. The role works closely with HR Payroll, Treasury, and the Accounting team to ensure timely financial reporting and compliance with Philippine statutory requirements.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
· Prepare payroll journal entries in Oracle Fusion.
· Prepare payroll-related account reconciliations.
· Prepare month-end payroll accruals.
· Coordinate with HR Payroll regarding payroll reports.
· Prepare statutory payroll schedules.
· Support internal and external audit requests.
· Prepare final pay accounting schedules.
· Recommend process improvements related to payroll accounting.
Qualifications
· Prepare payroll journal entries in Oracle Fusion.
