Job Description

This position requires the candidate to work on-site at project locations as needed, serving as the primary interface with governmental authorities for all regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities

Permit & Approval Management

  • Act as the PMC focal point for monitoring, coordinating, and facilitating all regulatory approvals, permits, and licenses.
  • Track permit and approval status throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive permit register to ensure full visibility of all regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate regulatory submissions and follow through to final approval.

Compliance & Audit Support

  • Ensure strict compliance with permit conditions and all applicable regulatory obligations.
  • Support government inspections, audits, and on-site verification activities.
  • Maintain accurate regulatory reporting and documentation for audit readiness.

Risk & Interface Coordination

  • Identify permitting risks early and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate project interfaces with national, provincial, and local authorities.
  • Support operational readiness and commissioning approvals to ensure smooth project handover.
  • Proactively protect the project schedule by identifying and resolving regulatory bottlenecks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in construction-related fields such as architecture or civil engineering. 
  • 7+ years of experience in Taiwan building permits, reviews, and government authority liaison.
  • Capable of consulting with relevant authorities and reviewing permit documents
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Korean is a plus.
