Start Time of shift - 5am or 6am; Varies
End Time of shift -1:30p or 2:30p; Varies
Special Working Needs= Will work days, some evenings and nights, holiday rotation, weekend rotation and on-call rotation, etc.
Job Description:
Pharmacy Tech II is a certified pharmacy technician position who supports pharmacy services by assembling and participating in the distribution of medications. A pharmacy technician II will need certification by a nationally recognized certification board. This position will assist the department’s professional staff, under direct supervision, in numerous aspects of ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and monitoring medication use.
Requirements/Preferred Qualifications:
Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (KY hospitals), within 30 days of hire date if you are a new registrant. If previously registered, you must have registration upon hire.
Nationally certified as a pharmacy technician.
Pharmacy work experience preferred.
