An established Launceston private practice is seeking a Podiatrist to join its clinical team on a permanent basis. The role suits a clinician who values careful, evidence-based work over volume — and who wants to build a career inside a stable, well-run practice with a strong local reputation.
Full-time and part-time arrangements will be considered. New graduates and experienced clinicians are both encouraged to apply.

The clinical scope
The caseload is broad and reflects the demographics of Northern Tasmania:
- General biomechanical assessment and treatment
- Routine care — nail and callus management, footwear and orthotic advice
- Diabetic foot management and high-risk foot assessment
- Wound care and offloading
- Orthotic prescription, fabrication, and review
- Paediatric and gait-related presentations
- Preventive-health education and long-term patient management
The mix supports both generalist development and the ability to grow a clinical interest over time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Podiatry
- General Registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Working with Vulnerable People Check (Tas), National Police Check, and NDIS Worker Screening — or the willingness to obtain
- Strong written and verbal communication
- A patient-first approach and a commitment to evidence-based practice
New graduates are supported through a structured mentoring program.
