Job Description

FLINT is seeking a Power Engineer 3rd or 4th Class with Field Production operation experience for a minimum 1-year power engineering role in Peace River, Alberta starting August 2026. In this position, you will enjoy a 7 Days In - 7 Days Out & 7 Nights In - 7 Nights Out schedule, 12-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Power Engineer.
  • Possess a Power Engineering Certificate.
  • Proven ability to inspect and install equipment, direct crews on site, conduct research, provide resource and cost forecasting, and report on project status.
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
    • H2S Alive
    • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
    • Standard First Aid
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Must have own reliable transportation to site.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
