About this role

Monarch Quantum is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Precision Component Cleaning & Materials Handling Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This position combines traditional warehouse and material handling responsibilities with the specialized cleaning and preparation of precision components used in advanced manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a production or manufacturing environment and understands the importance of cleanliness, organization, and quality. Experience cleaning precision-machined components using ultrasonic cleaning systems and adhering to contamination-control standards is highly desirable.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare, clean, and package precision-machined components according to established work instructions.
  • Operate ultrasonic cleaning equipment and associated cleaning processes for precision components.
  • Perform precision cleaning using approved solvents, detergents, and deionized (DI) water rinses while following established contamination-control procedures.
  • Handle components using particulate-free techniques and appropriate PPE to prevent contamination or damage.
  • Inspect cleaned components for cleanliness, damage, and quality before releasing them to production.
  • Package cleaned components using approved methods to maintain cleanliness during storage and transport.
  • Receive, inspect, stage, and distribute materials to support production.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through material transactions and inventory control procedures.
  • Maintain clean, organized workstations and support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, stocking, inventory transactions, and cycle counting as needed.
  • Follow all quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies.

Required Qualifications

    • This position requires access to export-controlled information. Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a U.S. person as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
    • Experience with material handling, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
    • Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and safety documentation.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
    • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Basic computer proficiency and experience with inventory or ERP systems.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience operating ultrasonic cleaning equipment.
    • Experience cleaning precision-machined components, vacuum hardware, optics, semiconductor components, aerospace parts, medical devices, or other high-value precision assemblies.
    • Experience performing precision cleaning to contamination-control standards, including:
      • Particulate-free handling techniques
      • Solvent cleaning and degreasing processes
      • Deionized (DI) water rinsing
      • Cleanroom or controlled-environment manufacturing practices
      • Drying and packaging processes designed to maintain component cleanliness
    • Familiarity with industry cleanliness standards such as ASTM, IPC, or other documented contamination-control specifications.
    • Experience documenting cleaning processes and maintaining traceability records.
    • Experience working within an ISO 9001 or similar quality management system.

The expected annual salary range for this position $21/hour to $31/hour.
