What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and define the overall 2D art direction and visual quality bar for the game.
  • Create the right and high-quality 2D game assets (characters, environments, props) that serve as benchmarks for the team.
  • Drive strong "right design" thinking to improve clarity, usability, and player experience.
  • Guide and elevate the team's output through feedback, art direction, and best practices.
  • Use AI and relevant tools to accelerate ideation, iteration, and production.
  • Collaborate closely with product, and engineering to ensure visuals support gameplay and user experience.
  • Establish and refine art pipelines, workflows, and standards to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback, with strong ownership over visual quality and delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 6 years of experience as a 2D Artist in the casual mobile games industry, including experience leading or mentoring other artists.
  • Strong understanding of composition, visual hierarchy, colour, and readability.
  • Proven ability to set a right and high visual quality bar and create benchmark-quality assets.
  • Strong design thinking with the ability to create the right design for gameplay clarity and player experience.
  • Deep understanding of the casual mobile game market and player preferences.
  • Ability to mentor artists, provide art direction, and elevate team quality.
  • Experience establishing art pipelines, workflows, and best practices.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in using AI tools to accelerate ideation, iteration, and production.
  • Open to relocating to Singapore.
