PRN Front Desk Care Coordinator (Receptionist)/PT Tech -Physical Therapy Clinic

We currently have a GREAT OPPORTUNITY for a CARE COORDINATOR/PT TECH to work at our Ames North physical therapy clinic. This position is a PRN hourly position.

RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to)

• 
  Deliver excellent customer service and client experience
• 
  Director of first impressions and continued client engagement including in-person, over the phone and email correspondence
• 
  Reviewing and explaining therapy services and insurance benefits to clients and communicating consulting services to employers
• 
  Assisting with completion of client paperwork
• 
  Work collaboratively to implement front desk processes and related tasks such as: scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and inputting information into the electronic medical record (EMR)
• 
  Supporting the clinical provider team by relaying and coordinating treatment information from referring providers and / or employers for consulting services
• Cleaning floors by vacuuming and mopping, cleaning sinks and toilets, cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces, including windows and therapy equipment
• Performing laundry and cleaning tasks including changing out treatment rooms between client visits
• Other tasks as required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• 
  Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
• 
  Minimum of 1 year in a medical office or office setting
• 
  Experience working with or knowledge of EMR software, Microsoft office
