About Us - An exciting time to join Baileys Irish Cream

This is a truly unique opportunity to join Diageo at a pivotal moment. Baileys Irish Cream has secured production for a major Guinness innovation and as a result a brand-new filling line is being installed at our Nangor Road site.

You’ll be joining a newly formed team responsible for the first production runs– offering a rare chance to get involved from day one, help shape ways of working and build experience on a Guinness beer filling line… all while working within the Baileys site.

About the Role

As a Process Controller you’ll play a key role in running packaging operations on the production line. You’ll operate equipment, support troubleshooting activities and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

You’ll be part of a high-performing team, working closely with engineers to keep operations running smoothly while contributing to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating beer intake, processing, and filling equipment

  • Conducting packaging activities, including palletisation

  • Troubleshooting equipment performance with engineering teams

  • Carrying out quality checks on components and finished products

  • Performing basic machine care, cleaning, and maintenance

  • Supporting line improvements and continuous improvement initiatives

Production Schedule

Production will run 24 hours Monday – Sunday using a daily two-shift pattern:

  • Front Shift: 0700-1900

  • Back Shift: 1900-0700

Production will be spread over 4 shift teams on a 4-week rotating cycle.

About You

We’re looking for a reliable, motivated and performance-driven individual who takes pride in delivering high standards of safety and quality in everything they do.

You’ll be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and bring a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Ideally, you’ll have experience working in an FMCG production environment and have worked with machinery, along with IT skills and understand packaging processes and plant technologies. A qualification in engineering, or science related discipline, would be beneficial.

You should also be comfortable carrying out manual tasks, including lifting, handling goods, and supporting general operational activities.

Rewards & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary alongside a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your lifestyle and wellbeing. This includes pension scheme, access to healthcare, as well as a range of discounts across retail and wellness.
