Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare the initial basis of design with input from the business side.
- Conduct detail engineering, including initial layout, main plant technical specifications, preparation of tender documents, technical evaluation, and recommendations.
- Provide engineering support and clarification during project detail engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Advise the automation, electrical, and instrument team on control philosophy, AEI design specification, and provide clarification during construction and commissioning phases.
- Perform process design, update, and conduct design calculations for new applications or equipment.
- Supervise draughtsman on engineering drawings.
- Participate in strategy planning and implementation with management support and approval.
- Prepare budget and estimation of investment and operational costs.
- Carry out other responsibilities and authorities as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of working experience, especially in oleochemicals or related fields, is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required; Chinese proficiency is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel overseas.
- Self-directed and highly motivated.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and trustworthy.
