Hexcel is currently seeking a Process Engineer ECP for our Parla location (Spain).

The selected individual will be responsible for, but not limited, to the following obligations: 

  • Define and control industrial processes across the production of all the intermediates and finished goods through recipes, trials, procedures, records, documentation, controls, etc. 
  • Apply and deploy continuous improvement philosophy across the production processes in order to improve the Quality of them, enhance their robustness, make them more sustainable and reduce their cost.
  • Support to daily problems found across the production lines working closely with the blue collars to ensure that procedures in place are followed, processes are improved and controls are working fine.
  • Support to internal and external audits. Help to develop, support and/or lead action plans to close gaps.
  • Ensure that all Quality policies and procedures are followed across the manufacturing processes, deploying improvements, action plans and closing the gap to achieve company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technical field.  Preferred Engineering Degrees: Chemical or Mechanical.
  • Candidates must have less than 3 years of work experience (excluding intern & co-op experience). Experience on industrial environments would be an added value.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Must be willing and able to relocate, travel domestically and internationally.
  • Demonstrated experience on continuous improvement, LEAN and/or six sigma tools would be an added value. Green Belt certification would be a plus.
  • Experience on the use of Information management tools such as ERPs, MES, share points would be an added value. Knowledge on programming macros in Excel, advance skills on PowerBI, PowerApps or any business intelligence tools would be a plus.
