Product Development Manager, Insecticide

Position Summary:

Responsible for Insecticide product development in China; also expected to collaborate with China R&D team to lead and deliver technical objectives for other programs in south and west of China.

Location: GuangZhou / GuangXi (Nanning)

The Role:

• Take response for insecticide project development work in China, independently complete budget proposal, protocol design, trials arrangement, data uploading into system and analysis, project summarizing, and so on. In charge of other projects’ trials in south and west of China, such as herbicide/fungicide/biologicals trials.

• Manage and build good relationships with the cooperators to finish all field trials, get high quality data and confident results.

• Timely collect reliable trial data, pictures & prepare summary according to project progress.

• Timely upload trials’ data into Field Trial Management System.

• Teamwork across all team members, fully support directly reporting manager workload distribution.

• High responsibility, positive working attitude, and good teamwork.

• Working closely with directly reporting manager、AP/Global product development managers to finish all goals very well and in time.

• Support other functions and business according related projects, such as products training and technology transfer.

The Candidate:

Education

• Master Degree (preferably in Agriculture, Plant Protection, or related major)

Experience

• Minimum 7 years professional work experience in product development, preferably in Insecticides.

Skills

• Be familiar with pesticide knowledge、Fruits & Vegetables’ pests management solutions、test methods of Insecticide field trials.

• Independently conduct、evaluate field trials, include Fruit & Vegetables’ insecticide field trials, fungicide & herbicide field trials.

• Good learning capacity, quickly study and use English data analysis software and data management system.

• Good communication skills & English reading、writing & oral, including preparing English presentations.

Competencies

• Good pesticide technical knowledge and new product development experience, and good English communication skill.

• Team-work well & good communication ability.

• Responsible and highly awareness of chemical stewardship.
