Product Manager, Multi Asset

AB multi-asset investment team manages a wide array of asset allocation services for global institutions, high net worth individuals and retail mutual fund investors.  The total assets under management across our multi-asset portfolios exceed USD145 billion. The Multi-Asset Business Development (BD) Group is responsible for supporting the marketing and distribution of AB’s Multi-Asset products and funds. The Group liaises with the global marketing, investment, client servicing, and product development teams on the retail, institutional and sub-advisory distribution channels.

The Product Manager, as part of the Multi-Asset BD team, plays a major role in supporting marketing and client interaction of a key line of AB multi-asset products, working closely with Marketing, Sales and Portfolio Managers.

Reporting to the Investment Strategist, the Product Manager’s role is to support the sales process in the following manner:

• Strong client orientation - partnering with the sales team to support existing client relationships as well as prospect and close new business.

• Preparing and updating marketing presentations and other materials to support product and platform messaging and facilitate the promotion and sales of AllianceBernstein’s multi-asset products.

• Providing internal and external marketing and sales support, and training for products where required.

• Researching and preparing responses to ad-hoc requests from clients and sales team

• Support client-specific investment prospecting/servicing materials (RFP, discretionary investment mandates, due diligence requests, etc.)

• Developing product updates covering performance, attribution, market outlook and positioning

• Monitoring and analyzing the competitive positioning of the firm’s multi-asset products and broad industry/market trends; preparing detailed competitive analysis

• Work with Portfolio Managers and other BD colleagues to offer consistent insight on market trends and sales opportunities

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters degree in finance-related field
• 10+ years of experience in asset management / financial industry. 
• Experience in product management roles at another global asset manager with a large and well-developed retail product line would be highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Taiwan SITE and Discretionary Investment Mandate business are preferred.
• Strong client-orientation and communication skills to read/write/speak in English and Chinese with ability to support local products and marketing.
• Has strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and creative environment.
• Possesses strong collaboration, communication and analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of capital markets.
• Good writing skill is preferred.
• Degree holder and CFA preferred but not mandatory.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. 
• Knowledge of various databases such as Bloomberg, Lipper, Morningstar Direct and others.
• Licensed in Taiwan
