About this role
We are looking for an experienced Algorithms Product Owner to lead the development and evolution of trading and algorithmic solutions within our sportsbook platform.
The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise with a deep understanding of sportsbook trading, odds management, and algorithmic pricing models. This role will focus on defining product strategy, managing the roadmap, and working closely with trading, quantitative, and development teams to build scalable and high-performance trading and automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for trading and algorithmic solutions within the sportsbook platform.
- Translate business and trading requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and development priorities.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Trading, Data Science, and Development teams to develop and improve automated trading and pricing systems.
- Lead the development of algorithm-driven solutions for odds generation, market automation, and trading optimization.
- Prioritize product backlog based on business impact, trading efficiency, and scalability.
- Ensure the delivery of high-performance systems capable of supporting real-time trading operations and market changes.
- Monitor product performance, trading efficiency, and automation outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze sportsbook trading data and operational insights to guide product decisions.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between Product, Trading, Technology, and Data teams.
- Conduct market and competitor research to benchmark algorithmic trading capabilities and sportsbook technologies.
- Support the implementation of automation, AI, and data-driven decision-making in sportsbook trading operations.
- Ensure trading and algorithmic solutions align with overall sportsbook strategy and commercial objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in product management within sportsbook, iGaming, or betting technology.
- Strong understanding of sportsbook trading operations, odds compilation, and market management.
- Experience working with algorithmic trading systems, pricing models, or automated sportsbook solutions.
- Ability to translate complex trading and quantitative concepts into clear product requirements.
- Experience managing agile product development processes and working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large datasets and trading performance metrics.
- Familiarity with sportsbook trading tools, data feeds, and market automation systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong prioritization, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English.
