Job Description

  

Electronics Technician – Radar Production

Step into a production environment where every board you test and every issue you solve strengthens mission‑critical technology used worldwide. At FLIR Unmanned Aerial Systems, part of Teledyne Technologies and known for advanced surveillance radar systems, you’ll contribute directly to the performance and reliability of equipment trusted across global applications.
If you enjoy hands‑on electronics, precision testing, and supporting high‑quality manufacturing, this role places you at the center of building cutting‑edge radar technology.

What you’ll do

  • Inspect, test, and troubleshoot printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Perform ATP/ATR testing and use schematics to diagnose and repair complex boards.
  • Complete electrical and mechanical assembly work.
  • Conduct environmental and thermal chamber testing.
  • Support radar calibration and maintain accurate production documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts, including 5S activities.
  • Track calibration status for tools and equipment.
  • Assist with general production tasks as needed.

What you need

  • Required: Strong attention to detail and ability to multi‑task.
  • Required: Experience with PCB inspection, testing, or electronic assembly.
  • Required: Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Required: Eligibility for export‑controlled information and Controlled Goods Program certification.
  • Advantage: 1+ year experience in electronics manufacturing.
  • Advantage: Ability to use electronic schematics for troubleshooting.
  • Advantage: Experience in small or fast‑paced production environments.
  • Advantage: Bilingual English/French.
