Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Salt Lake City, United States. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production operations, ensure quality standards are met, and lead a team of production workers to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities to meet quality and quantity targets
• Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and equipment
• Monitor production processes and adjust workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production team members to improve performance and productivity
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and implement process improvements
• Analyze production data and prepare reports for upper management
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain to ensure timely availability of materials
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance activities as needed

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or production supervision, optical, anti-reflective process is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality control processes and safety regulations
• Excellent team leadership and management skills
• Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven track record in production planning and scheduling
• Experience with supply chain management and inventory control
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies with optical manufacturing
• Demonstrated ability to optimize production efficiency
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
• Proficient time management and organizational skills
