What You'll Do

  • Partner with production and engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, eliminate waste, and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
  • Design, develop, and maintain production infrastructure, automated tools, and manufacturing support systems.
  • Develop and implement calibration equipment, automated test systems, and custom hardware rigs for production.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust, long-term engineering solutions.
  • Create intuitive software interfaces that enable production technicians to perform tasks efficiently and consistently.
  • Integrate production equipment, devices, and servers through reliable and secure network solutions.
  • Support the introduction of new products into production by developing scalable manufacturing processes and tooling.
  • Contribute to process documentation and standard operating procedures to ensure quality and repeatability.

What You'll Work With

  • Real Hardware
    Develop in-house fixtures, testing equipment, and production methodologies to manufacture complex aerospace systems while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Networks
    Connect production equipment, embedded devices, and servers through reliable and secure network infrastructure.
  • Software & User Interfaces
    Build simple, intuitive applications and tools that streamline production workflows and improve operator efficiency.
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a production engineering, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, or similar role.
  • Strong programming skills in at least one of C/C++, Go, or Python.
  • Experience developing hardware test systems, automation tools, or production software.
  • Understanding of manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing.
  • Hands-on mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across software and hardware.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Experience working with UAVs, robotics, or other complex electromechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of visual-inertial navigation systems or sensor integration.
  • Background in electronics manufacturing or production testing.
  • Understanding of physics, control systems, or embedded systems.
