En Turner & Townsend buscamos un/a Ingeniero/a Especialista en Control de Proyectos para incorporarse a un importante proyecto de logística portuaria, con base en Buenos Aires. La posición tendrá un rol clave en la planificación, el seguimiento y el control integral del proyecto, trabajando en coordinación con el cliente, los equipos técnicos y los principales stakeholders.

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Project Controls Engineer to join a major port logistics project based in Buenos Aires. The successful candidate will play a key role in the overall planning, monitoring and control of the project, working closely with the client, technical teams and key stakeholders.

Principales responsabilidades 

  • Desarrollar, actualizar y controlar el cronograma maestro del proyecto. 

  • Realizar el seguimiento del avance físico, los costos, los recursos y los principales hitos. 

  • Analizar desvíos respecto del plan aprobado e identificar tendencias que puedan afectar los objetivos del proyecto. 

  • Preparar reportes periódicos, dashboards, curvas de avance e indicadores de desempeño. 

  • Participar en la elaboración y actualización de proyecciones de costos y plazos. 

  • Identificar y monitorear riesgos, oportunidades y acciones de mitigación. 

  • Evaluar el impacto de cambios de alcance sobre el cronograma y el presupuesto. 

  • Integrar información proveniente de ingeniería, procurement, construcción y demás áreas del proyecto. 

  • Coordinar con contratistas, consultores y equipos internos para asegurar información precisa y oportuna. 

  • Contribuir a la mejora de procesos, herramientas y estándares de Project Controls. 

Principales requisitos:

  • Ingeniero/a Civil, Industrial o de una especialidad afín. 

  • Mínimo 10 años de experiencia sólida en planificación y Control de Proyectos. 

  • Conocimiento de gestión de cronogramas, costos, riesgos, cambios y reporting. 

  • Manejo avanzado de herramientas de planificación, preferentemente Primavera P6 y/o Microsoft Project. 

  • Buen dominio de Excel; se valorará experiencia con Power BI u otras herramientas de visualización. 

  • Capacidad analítica, organización y orientación a resultados. 

  • Buenas habilidades de comunicación y coordinación con equipos multidisciplinarios. 

  • Inglés fluido, tanto oral como escrito, excluyente. 

Se valorará experiencia en proyectos portuarios, logísticos, industriales, de infraestructura o de gran escala.

Key responsibilities 

  • Develop, update and maintain the project master schedule. 

  • Monitor physical progress, costs, resources and key project milestones. 

  • Analyse variances against the approved baseline and identify trends that could affect project objectives. 

  • Prepare periodic reports, dashboards, progress curves and performance indicators. 

  • Support the preparation and regular update of cost and schedule forecasts. 

  • Identify and monitor risks, opportunities and mitigation actions. 

  • Assess the cost and schedule impact of scope changes. 

  • Consolidate information from engineering, procurement, construction and other project areas. 

  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely project information. 

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Project Controls processes, tools and standards. 

Requirements 

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline. 

  • Solid experience in project planning and Project Controls. 

  • Strong understanding of schedule, cost, risk, change and performance management. 

  • Advanced knowledge of planning tools, preferably Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project. 

  • Strong Excel skills; experience with Power BI or other data visualisation tools will be valued. 

  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. 

  • Effective communication skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams. 

  • Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory. 

  • Experience in port, logistics, industrial, infrastructure or other large-scale projects will be highly valued.
