Why this role matters

As Project Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the structuring, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects. Your work will directly influence technical decisions, project feasibility, and operational outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct preliminary and detailed yield assessments.

  • Support technical business case evaluations and project plausibility studies.

  • Review and evaluate technical documentation and contracts (PPA, Grid Code, Connection Agreements, etc.).

  • Assist Supply Chain with RFP compilation and supplier response evaluation.

  • Perform due diligence and investigations to conclude on technology selections.

  • Support in compiling and coordinating complete system design packages.

  • Ensure design information is implemented in detailed engineering for construction.

  • Engage with stakeholders (utilities, suppliers, contractors) to resolve technical requirements.

  • Review design changes, monitor construction quality, and conduct site visits.

  • Support testing, commissioning, and project close‑out activities.

What you’ll bring

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience in EPC for medium to large construction projects.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical industry best practices.

  • Experience with PV systems, including tracker technology and mounting structures.

  • Ability to review technical documentation and manage design processes.

  • Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is an advantage).
