Job Description

We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented **Project Engineer** to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in planning, executing, and coordinating engineering projects from conception through completion. You'll work collaboratively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet project objectives while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.   • Coordinate and oversee the execution of engineering projects, ensuring seamless integration of design, procurement, and construction activities
  • Prepare, review, and manage technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, material approvals, and comprehensive engineering documentation
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to facilitate smooth project delivery and resolve technical challenges
  • Monitor project progress against established schedules and budgets, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project objectives
  • Support procurement activities by evaluating materials, equipment, and subcontractor requirements to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure strict compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, quality assurance/quality control procedures, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards
  • Participate in project planning, resource allocation, construction sequencing, and scheduling activities to optimize project delivery
  • Prepare detailed progress reports, site records, technical correspondences, and project status updates for stakeholder communication
  • Manage project interfaces and coordinate between various disciplines to resolve technical and construction-related issues efficiently
  • Support commercial and contractual matters, including variations, claims, and comprehensive project documentation
  • Conduct site inspections and quality monitoring to verify compliance with specifications and standards
  • Attend stakeholder meetings and provide technical guidance and support to site teams and project personnel

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 8-12 years of professional experience in project engineering, project coordination, or construction project management
  • Proven experience in executing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects or similar complex engineering initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and best practices in project coordination
  • Demonstrated expertise in preparing and reviewing technical submittals, method statements, material approvals, and project reports
  • Solid understanding of project controls, scheduling, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and health, safety, and environment (HSE) requirements
  • Experience in risk management, budget management, and cost control within project environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in collaborative environments
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Experience in vendor and supplier management
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contract conditions is preferred
  • Prior experience in the UAE or GCC region is preferred
  • Valid UAE Driving License is preferred
