About this role
Project Manager
Roc is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of multiple customer-facing IT projects. You'll manage a varied portfolio including infrastructure refreshes, data centre migrations, cloud transformation, and cyber security programmes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initiation through to handover and acceptance.
- Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and customer expectations.
- Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project delivery.
- Manage project financials, forecasting, and commercial performance.
- Administer NEC contracts, change control, and commercial risk.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources across multiple projects.
- Maintain project governance, reporting, and documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practice.
About You:
You'll have:
- Proven experience delivering complex IT projects in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, cloud, and/or cyber security technologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience.
- A recognised project management qualification (PRINCE2, Agile, APM or equivalent).
Desirable:
- Experience within government, higher education, or regulated sectors.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and partners.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Project Management.
Additional Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and Roc offices as required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.
