Job Description:
The Senior Purchasing Manager (m/f/d) leads a team who owns the development and execution of the purchasing supply plan for a specified segment within the Materials Management Organization including both capacity analysis and fulfillment of purchase orders. As a purchasing manager, you will strategically develop and manage a global purchasing plan, while driving a commercial advantage through achievement of quality, delivery, and cost targets. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, and drive business outcomes. You will be the primary point of contact for purchasing related escalations within your segment.
What you’ll do
Manage creation and maintenance of a purchasing plan that utilizes the available capacity of our supply partners while aligning to safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets of the business.
Collaborate within a matrixed organization.
Manage relationships with suppliers, including volume and strategy changes.
Lead a global team responsible for creating purchase orders to support the supply plan and drive supplier fulfillment.
Appropriately manage purchasing metrics including OTD & Overdue POs
Keep ERP systems and tools up to date and accurate to the current state of supply plans.
Apply appropriate Sourcing policies and execute sourcing program initiatives with strategic sourcing team, including management of deflation activities and supply chain risk mitigation.
Support and drive initiatives, including lead time reduction, New Product Introduction (NPI), payment terms and cash flow improvements.
Act as the primary source of contact for supply capacity and continuous improvement plans in your responsible segment.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience
Major experience in manufacturing / supply chain
Significant experience specifically in material planning / scheduling function
Fluent English knowledge is essential

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $122,600.00 and $204,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
