Job Description
Key Responsibilities include:
Establish and publish local quality manual and quality system related documents to bring the laboratoryās quality systems and policies into compliance with quality system requirements, assure the quality management systems are implemented faithfully and effectivelyĀ
Handle daily quality assurance related tasks including line audits, coordinate quality related activities with team leadersĀ
Liaise with external parties (e.g.Ā accreditation bodies, governmentalĀ departmentsĀ etc.) āÆandĀ responsible for accreditation,Ā recognitionĀ and related matters. Represent company to attend any external or corporate internal auditsĀ
Arrange annual internal audits and execute internalĀ auditĀ according to plan; conduct system audits, prepare auditĀ report, review audit findings, issue CAR.Ā
Ā Investigate customer complaint case /Ā proficiencyĀ test problematic result / lab errors discovered from audits and revision request, issue CAR andĀ monitorĀ the implementation of corrective / improvement actions,Ā timelyĀ report to laboratory management and Asia QA Manager/ Leader, keep related recordsĀ
Supervise equipment management, arrange external calibration to ensure the testing equipmentĀ delivers the desired level of accuracy at all timesĀ
Prepare quality reports (weekly and monthly) and host monthly quality meeting with location Laboratory managementĀ
Arrange and host Management Review Meeting, collect input materials from all related parties, prepare management reviewĀ reportĀ andĀ submitĀ Annual Work Report and Statistical Data according to requirementsĀ
Prepare ISO 17025 and quality management system trainings materials, arrange quality training (both classroom training and eLearning);⯠monitorĀ training status in the location (including basic training and annual training plan), generate training status reports of the laboratory regularlyĀ
Other quality related tasks such asĀ proficiencyĀ testing arrangement,Ā monitorĀ document control system,Ā monitorĀ subcontractor and supplier evaluation,Ā monitorĀ process of laboratory equipment / consumablesĀ purchasingĀ and equipment maintenanceĀ
Support Laboratory Management for Lab Safety or 5S implementationĀ
Ā Other ad hoc tasks assigned by Senior Manager - Quality and Governance, Asia Laboratories, Regional QA Manager / Leader, Asia Laboratories, and/or Lab Operations ManagersĀ
Prepare budget estimation in accreditation, external training, PT/ILC, and equipment calibration and expense recordingĀ

TechnicalĀ Requirements:Ā
In-depth knowledge of ISO 17025 quality management systemĀ
Knowledge of metrological traceability and equipment managementĀ
Knowledge of measurement uncertaintyĀ
Ability toĀ operateĀ measuring instruments and knowledge of uncertainty calculation would be an advantageĀ
Good planning, organizational, monitoring,Ā communicationĀ and leadership skillsĀ
Good troubleshooting skillsĀ
Good training skillsĀ
Proficient in Microsoft OfficeĀ
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:Ā
In order to succeed in this role, you have:
Degree holderāÆin a field related to chemistry, physics, mathematics, or engineeringĀ
ISO/IEC 17025 Internal auditorĀ
5 years accredited laboratory working experience (e.g.Ā have solid testing experience in Textile / Physical / Chemical testing) with two-years' experience to manage quality system as QA supervisorĀ
Solid experience in handling NABLāÆaccreditation isĀ a must, experience in handling āinitial assessmentā with accreditation bodies is an advantageĀ
Experience inĀ handling foreign accreditation is an advantageĀ
Candidate who is accreditation bodies' approved signatories with less QA background will also be consideredĀ
Fluent in written and spoken English and local language.Ā
