We're looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead our Quality function. Reporting to the Head of Quality, you'll play a critical leadership role in maintaining and continuously improving Jord's Quality Management System while ensuring compliance across projects, manufacturing facilities and our global supplier network.

The Opportunity

This is far more than a traditional quality role.

You'll influence quality outcomes across the entire project lifecycle from tender and procurement through manufacturing, inspection and final delivery. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement and Suppliers to ensure every project meets Jord's uncompromising standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the QA/QC team across multiple projects
• Manage Jord's Integrated Management System (IMS), ISO certifications and EHS compliance
• Lead internal, supplier and customer quality audits
• Oversee inspection planning, ITPs, MPS documentation and quality procedures
• Review technical documentation to ensure compliance with client specifications, international codes and project requirements
• Drive supplier quality management, inspections and manufacturing surveillance
• Lead investigations into non-conformances, corrective actions, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with Project Managers and Engineering teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout project delivery
• Promote a strong culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement across the business.

About You

You'll be a collaborative leader who enjoys solving technical challenges and developing high performing teams.

You'll also bring:

• Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 15 years' experience in QA/QC within pressure vessel or heavy manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII, IX and V, with experience in API 661, ACHE and/or ACC highly regarded
• Extensive knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining, NDE, heat treatment and coating processes
• Experience leading ISO management systems, audits and quality assurance programs
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to influence quality outcomes across a global organisation.
