The Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial management of projects across a range of sectors, working closely with ORS Project Managers, clients, and external consultants.


This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a broader consultancy-style role within a multidisciplinary environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Cost planning, estimating, and budget development
  • Preparation of tender documentation and evaluation of returns
  • Procurement support and subcontractor appointment
  • Preparation of valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasts
  • Assessment and agreement of variations and final accounts
  • Contract administration support and commercial risk management
  • Close collaboration with ORS Project Managers and client teams


Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Economics (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated relevant post-graduate QS experience
  • Experience in consultancy or contractor environments
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness
  • Proficiency in Buildsoft/Cubit, Microsoft Excel and Cost Reporting Documents
  • Experience with measurement of full Bills of Quantities in accordance with the current Agreed Rules of Measurement
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Irish project experience
