Responsibilities
Essential functions include (but are not limited to):
- Assistance with financial pipeline – new acquisitions and refinances
- Coordinates initial underwriting materials to ownership for asset/portfolio acquisitions
- Maintains revenue and expense watch lists for assets
- Support budgeting/forecasting for properties
- Update monthly reports to monitor performance through historical and budget comparisons
- Special project analysis – Analyzing and assist with implementing new business strategies/programs roll outs
- Assist in determining quarterly and annual performance metrics for presentations, for public REIT, and private investments portfolios
- Utilizing industry market/submarket and economic research through Axio/CBRE/Costar resources for reporting and presentations
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Model Creation
- Ability to understand economic trends and forecasts
- Ability to source information from various market research organizations
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong work ethic, pride in work, team orientation, acute attention to detail and desire to learn.
- Ability to work under tight timeframes and balancing multiple assignments
Desired Skills:
- Excel - complex formulas, lookups, model building
- Understanding of basic real estate and financial concepts
