Position Summary:


Receives and inspects all incoming products at the service facility. 


Position Responsibilities:


Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. 


Inspect and document the condition of the product.  Advise Service Manager of unusual occurrences seen on product.

Uses advanced inspection methods when receiving products.

Assembles/reassembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies.


Advise Service manager when supplies are needed to perform tasks.

Assists shipping completed components to customers

Assists shipping defective material back to vendors


Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment by adhering to all departmental procedures and safety regulations

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
Ability to use tools safely and properly without damaging product
Able to understand and execute detailed instructions
Able to describe and document details


Position Qualifications:
Education:
HS diploma or equivalent required

Experience:
1+ years of experience in a repair/service environment required

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Manufacturing Environment
Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
