Overview
The Regional Clinical Specialist role is positioned in the sales team and aligned within a sales region to designated markets with specific focus on growth of the nutrition (PN/Enteral) product line. This role supports the sales team as a subject matter expert for nutrition support therapies and is responsible for PN/Enteral growth strategy in collaboration with the sales director and sales managers for the aligned markets.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for collaborative development of regional nutrition product line strategy, working with the regional sales director, regional sales manager, and director of nutrition product line
- Develops and executes growth plan for top PN opportunity accounts as identified by regional director of sales
- Delivers a quarterly strategic plan and SWOT analysis
- Manages and prioritizes regional business development opportunities for PN/enteral; reports and communicates threats and opportunities
- Analyzes and interprets data to monitor and drive the business. Monitors regional admits, referrals, No Go’s, gross margin, and market share
- Attends/supports regional industry events
- Provides sales coaching and/or clinical training specific to sales strategy
- Identifies opportunities to optimize the clinician and patient experience, and addresses these with support as needed from the director of nutrition product line & regional leadership
- Presents continuing education programs and in-services for customers to promote Amerita’s nutrition support expertise
- Supervisory Responsibility: No
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field
- Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RD/N) required; CNSC preferred
- Knowledge of specialty pharmacy and infusion services
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing parenteral nutrition therapy
- Advanced problem solving skills with ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues and generate results among potentially conflicting constituencies
- Data analysis and reporting skills
- Excellent communication skills, including presentations to customers and director level leadership
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workload to meet project deadlines with specific deliverables
- Percentage of Travel: 25-75%
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time.
**To perform this role will require frequently sitting, standing, walking, and typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occasionally bending, reaching, and climbing (stairs/ladders). The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 1-10 lbs**
