Regional Marketing and Business Development Consultant for Hisamitsu- Visayas and Mindanao

The Regional Marketing and Business Development Consultant supports the growth of the Hisamitsu portfolio in Visayas and Mindanao by developing and implementing localized marketing, digital, and customer engagement initiatives. In collaboration with the GHC Business Partner Manager, Hisamitsu Business Partner, and cross-functional teams, the role drives brand awareness, market penetration, and business performance through data-driven insights and effective program execution.

Successful candidate can either be base in Cebu or Davao. 

This role is predominantly field-based and requires occasional reporting to the office for meetings, collaboration, and administrative requirements, requiring regular travel within Visayas and Mindanao for customer engagements, market assessments, business reviews, program implementation, and stakeholder meetings. Flexibility in work schedules may be required to support events and key business activities.

The consultancy engagement is for a period of twelve (12) months, subject to the terms and conditions of the consultancy agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Brand Management

• Develop and recommend localized marketing plans aligned with Hisamitsu brand objectives and commercial priorities and support on-going marketing programs and brand growth initiatives.
• Analyze customer, channel, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks, monitor competitive activities and recommend responsive strategies and assist in budget planning and evaluation of marketing investments.

Digital Marketing & Omnichannel Engagement

• Develop and implement digital marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.
• Collaborate with agencies and vendors in the creation of digital content, campaign assets, and multimedia materials.
• Monitor digital performance indicators including reach, engagement, website traffic, conversion, and lead generation and recommend innovative digital tools and technologies to improve customer experience and marketing effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance of all digital activities with company, principal, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Market Development and Business Analytics

• Conduct market research, customer profiling, territory analyses, and competitive intelligence gathering, identify opportunities for business expansion and market penetration within Visayas and Mindanao, analyze sales, market share, customer, and campaign performance data.
• Prepare regular business reviews and strategic recommendations for GHC and Hisamitsu stakeholders and develop actionable insights to improve brand performance and customer reach.
  
  

Stakeholder and Project Management

• Collaborate closely with the GHC Business Partner Manager and Hisamitsu Business Partner in implementing agreed business and marketing plans.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure successful project execution, manage localized marketing projects from planning through execution and post-activity evaluation and ensure timely completion of agreed deliverables and business objectives.

Reporting and Compliance

• Prepare reports, presentations, and post-activity evaluations as required and ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, brand management, consumer marketing, commercial operations, or consulting.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare, FMCG or advertising agencies preferred.
• Prior experience in recruiting and managing influencers /digital marketing background.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing brand and marketing strategies, with strong capabilities in digital and omnichannel marketing, trade marketing, market intelligence, stakeholder management, project leadership, business presentations, data-driven decision-making, and strategic planning.
• Preference will be given to candidates who are native speakers or highly proficient in the local dialect, as this is essential for tailoring and executing localized digital marketing campaigns that drive engagement and market penetration within the region.
